4/14/2001 Recently, my site exceeded its bandwidth limit and was suspended by Topcities. I had to delete all the .gif and .wav files to decrease traffic.
I'm currently moving this site to my new domain, blithesea.net. Once I have that done, I'll put up my pics again, or so I hope.

12/18/2001 Hail all newsie fans, the time has come to take my leave from your community. Recently I haven't found the time or energy to work on my fics and graphics any longer. Frankly, I believe I lost my drive. There's only so much fun you can sqeeze out of a movie. My newsies phase is close to ending, new things are occupying my mind now. I don't think I'll update this site any longer. It's my little baby, and I'll always love it, but it's pretty near completion now. I'll still update the Newsies Advent Calendar until Christmas Eve.

10/4/2001 I took down the mailing card service because I don't think people used it much. And I added a little gif on the index page, now Spot the Pixie watches over my site. :-D

10/1/2001 Wheeee, updates galore. Look for a new story, Thanks for the Directions, written by Princess. There's a new Skittery gif in the gif section. My site has received new awards, to be seen here. The link to No Trifling Matter was broken, so I fixed it. I have finally managed to update Slick's page, don't miss her gorgeous pics! And last but not least, there's a new patron for my Gallery, Dave the Genie.
And hooray, today is Harlaquinne's birthday! *makes the newsies throw a parade*

9/16/2001 To show my sympathy and condolence to the victims of the recent terrorism acts in the United States and of terrorism all over the world, my site has been down for the last three days.

8/9/2001 *hides behind a bulky newsie* Gee, I haven't updated my little baby in over a month! Guilt has me in its clutches! There are several reasons for this, just hit the return button if you don't want to read them.

Real life has caught up with me big time. At first there were exams, and quite important ones, called "Vordiplom" in german, to pass. That kept me busy until the end of July, and ruined my summer until then.

After having done with these irksome exams I have returned into the arms of my loving family up in the north of Germany, and am now busy enjoying time with them, my old friends, etc. Go figure.

Last but in no way least, I'm in the process of making two other websites, both centered around my gifs. They are called Mayhem's Eyecandy and Nasty Pointy Bitey, the latter is my contribution to the huge fandoms of BtVS and Angel.

This doesn't mean that I have finished working on this website, I just don't have the time to solely concentrate on newsies, as I did before. I'll still be updating this site, since I still have millions of ideas for manipulated pics, and gifs as well, and have started my third story in the Mayhem series, but the updates might be fewer and with longer pauses in the future.

One true update now: there are new gifs of Mush, Snoddy, Skittery, Jack and Dave to be seen in the Newsie Gifs section.

And yay, over 2000 people have visited Mayhem's Movie Madness now! *throws a round of chocolate newsies*

5/27/2001 Major Update Time! Loads of new things to enjoy: after months and months of tedious waiting I present you the sequel to Mayhem in Manhattan: No Trifling Matter. A new theme has been added to the Gallery, I put up two pages of new animated gifs, and Slick has now her own section: check out her leprechaun newsies!

5/23/2001 Wheeeeeeeeeee, I'm back! My little darling has been repaired and is well again! Expect many hot updates in the following days, I'll have to make up for over six weeks of computer deprivation!

4/7/2001 A new newsie graphic by Snitchberries can be seen in the Other Great Artists section.
Now for something very tragic: due to a horrible accident my laptop got exposed to water and is broken. Until Easter I can work at my mother's pc, but after that I won't have access to a computer for about a month because my little baby has to be shipped to Austria for repairs. My site will have to look after itself for that period of time, and I won't be able to work on my pics and gifs either.
*sniff* Dunno how I will stand it. See you then, I hope!

4/1/2001 Okay, so maybe here it isn't technically April yet, but I feel like it. Spring is in the air, huge update time! Since one week exactly I have a device enabling me to make direct screenshots, and I have used it to make the first ever Newsie Gifs! And my story Mayhem in Manhattan won some awards, look at them here.

12/27/2000 Since christmas is over, I removed the Christmas Special. I also gave the start page a little face lifting. And guess what? Over 100 people visited this page! Woohooo! *pops a champagne bottle*

12/13/2000 Thanks to Wisecracks and True I noticed my guestbook link was invisible, but now I fixed it and you can all go and sign now! Yay! I also added a counter, only it missed the first day of visitors. *sighs* Oh well, I'm new to this, bear with me.
