I had started working on my Ronon/Rodney vid, and had been toiling along with that one for a few months already when I got very sick of it all and just wanted to make a quick video in one day, two at the most, to have something finished. I saw The Return, and enjoyed the whole team effort so much that I wanted to try and capture that spirit with music. I was reminded of Robin Williams whistling the Tchaikovski piece in "Dead Poet's Society", and couldn't get it out of my head.
The vid was crammed together within two evenings. I believe that some of the clip choices and pacing could have been better if I had given myself more time, but not having much time was the point in case here, anyway. I was so relieved to have finally finished something that returning to the Ronon vid didn't take as much of an effort afterwards.
